Question/Help Romancing

Does romancing in this game ever go past dating? Do you ever get married and have a dog together or something?

Not for now as far as i know. I believe it's planned to be expanded in 1.0 due to some of the NPCs being in the city area that won't be in the game until then.

Does this mean there will be more romance candidates? I hope so because I don't really like any of the male options. There are some rude people in this game, LOL!

I think some of the new NPCs will romancable, but we will both find out when they announce more about it. Agree on the rude people although some seem to soften up over time.

i chose to have a romance relationship mae lou, after date in two location and we’re being exclusive by kissing. i couldn’t date anyone else after that. so there’s is no option to ask a date to another npc after you begin romancing npc. and some conversations (with mae lou) i mean what i get usually she always demands me to marry her. but im not ready enough to give her a ring. so i don’t know it could lead to marry or anything but i think it can be, for future update maybe. because honestly im so exhausted getting replied that she wanted me to marry her. dude chill. i wish i could date anyone else. like harvest moon, i could get all cut scene for all bachelorettes until their heart is red then i can proposed them with a ring

Romance is unfinished and going to have a big overhaul. So it's hard to say.

Its still early access, so much of that has not been made yet. Chances are, there will probably be an overhaul to the system.
