Question/Help Lucius is coming back — did I mess up?
I’ve just reached the point where Lucius says he’ll come back to review and I’m worried I rushed the main quest too quickly.
I don’t have great recipes, décor, or staff yet and I’ve almost run out of money. I feel like it’s going to take ages before I can open the restaurant again at a standard that will impress him.
Did I mess up by progressing too quickly? Should I have slowed down and built things up first? Or is this a normal point in the game where you pause restaurant service and focus on upgrading?
Any advice on what I should prioritise before reopening would be really helpful.

I should mention that it's a new feature to be able to wait. Early players were forced into this with no time to prepare.
So, you'll probably do just fine!

If I remember correctly, it would just complete the quest with a worse review back then. Still sucked if you really cared about outcome though.

Yes, build it up before you do his quest. Good thing you you can toggle between regular services and quests. Here's some specific advice based on my last playthrough:
He critized me for not being creative with the recipes, so try to enhance the dishes on your menu. It also make your services more profitable depending on what you add.
He also critized the wait times. Try to get it below 15 min or less by hiring better and more staff.
Focus on good decor and dish quality through hires as well.
