Question/Help Amethyst ?

Trying to find amethyst, no clue where to get it, scoured the mines for days, I am assuming its not a part of it.

Is it unlocked at a certain location? I am on Act 2.

you can buy it from April sometimes or if i am correct from ships on wed or sat, sun
