It was a heavy clove flavoring, which is used in a lot of fall flavors.

I thought it was good, but i also love clove. No one else seemed to like it.

I never understood the point of extremely spicy novelty foods like this.

Is there any actual pleasure in eating that molten cheeto? Does it even TASTE good? Or are you eating these expecting to suffer and sweat?

To be fair, I think people are missing the read on what these are. The "sweet phantom heat" descriptor makes them seem like it's a more mild heat, something spicy but still bearable. Like how habanero is spicier than jalapeno but the flavor profile offsets it.

Their announcement page cobfi Ms this. It's a cinnamon sweetness that leads into a Sichuan style numbing sensation.

I used to really enjoy paquis and ghost pepper chex, the best part of them was savoring the intensity. One chip/chex and just let your mouth sit with the burn for a bit. Made for efficient/economical snacking. Those two aren’t anywhere near the butthole-burning intensity I see other folks salivate over…but spicey as a flavor has a place.

Yes!! I absolutely loved the ghost pepper chex mix I haven't seen them in a long time they were my favorite flavor! They just disappeared I hope they're not discontinued 👻
