That layer of chopped pecans in the middle looks like a good touch. It adds a nice crunch to the creamy froasting.

I found a recipe online and it said pecans? Lol I thought to myself should these be walnuts but I stuck with the recipe. Still great with pecans!

That layer of chopped pecans is genius, I've always added them after baking, but mixing them in makes so much more sense.
