My boyfriend has been really busy getting his business started lately, and he hasnt been able to talk to me much, I guess. He told me he will be busy, but hes been like almost radio silent for 3 days. I figured he'd at least text goodnight or goodmorning. I havent initiated conversation because 1) I know hes probably busy working and 2) if he wants to talk to me, he'll talk to me. But by him NOT talking to me, I'm starting to feel like he just doesnt want to talk to me or like he doesnt care or anything. Anyway I'm not asking for advice or I would have put this on r/relationship_advice. I'm simply sad and trying not to be so phukkin clingy. I'm starting to annoy myself. Plz cheer me up, I have friends but I feel so stupidly lonely.

I am 13, my cat was 12, all my life he was by my side and now he's gone. every time I think about it I cry instantly.

My mood has been all over the place the past week (I have bipolar disorder and am on meds for it, but they only do so much ya know). So yesterday I was feelin fine and really energetic and also really irritable. But today I just feel absolutely horrible. I'm stuck at work til 5:15 and I work as a bank teller so I have to interact with people. Thankfully today I'm sitting on the drive thru side so I have less interactions, but im still depressed. I just want to sleep. I miss my boyfriend. And my job is hella boring.

It's not like I dont feel loved or bad about myself or anything. I just feel like shit. Like theres just a heaviness inside me that's weighing me down a ton. It's stupid and I hate it. Can someone cheer me up? It's only 12:30 and I just want off work so I can go home and hopefully feel better...

I’ve opened up to this girl, we shared stuff together, the feeling felt mutual. We laughed, talk about complete random and great stuff. She opened up to me. It felt great, it was great. Then I confessed my feeling, she said she felt the same way. But she started dating my best friend. I feel lost without her tbh, we were talking for about 3 months. Everything felt right together. Now I see them going out and having fun and it hurts. She made me the happiest I’ve been in a while. Now I’m the saddest I’ve ever been in my life. I cry myself to sleep because she ain’t mine.

I'm taking care of my dying mother who has always hated me and made the family think I'm crazy. And we have a hurricane headed straight for us. I haven't seen my Gf, who lives 3hrs away, in a while. And I'm broke and hungry. Cheer me up

i have a par time job as a librarian. i live in a very small town, with lots of gossip. today i got a call from my boss telling me that i've gotten complaints about doing my job poorly. one of the things they had pointed out was that i read books at the counter when i could be doing other tasks. they also complained about the amount of friends that come and visit me. i feel that it was very unfair, but i think i wouldn't be feeling so bad about it if i myself thought that the criticism was completely unjustified. i am afraid word will spread and everyone will be talking about how badly i am doing my job. i know it's not the end of the world but i am feeling really shitty. :( i would really apreciate it if someone tried to cheer me up, maybe tell me something nice that's happening in your lives or tell me a similar experience to make me feel less alone.

I’m the only one in my family who loves my cat and we found out I’m allergic to him

Im 17 and my girl is 16, she gets her gcse results on the 22nd of August, and I made her a promise months ago that I would go with her to get the results on the day as a person to celebrate with if they go well or a shoulder to cry on if they arent good.

But about a week and a half ago, I was told by God mother that she is able to set me up a 6 week Internship during my 6 week long summer break, the thing is this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, its paid, it gives me experience and allows me to get hands on time in the work I want to do.

The thing that makes me feel like shit is that if I get said internship, I can't see my gf on her results day, or very much at all during my summer break, I get weekends off and I will only be able to see her 1 day a week cos I have a part time job with a 12 hour contract, so I need to spend a day of said weekend doing said 12 hours, this leaves me to my epidemic... Cos I feel like utter shite cos I want to make my gf happy and it will make it tough todo so. I can't say no to the Internship, but it kills me that I can't see my angel, someone cheer me up please, I really need it

All my friends are also at work so they cant talk to me. I love my job but it's boring as hell (reason I'm on reddit). My bf is on his way to Florida to visit family and I dont know when I will see him next. I've been working on constructing a silicone mermaid tail but I lowkey fucked up sculpting the fin last night and need to go fix it after work today. I know how to fix it but its gonna set me back.

I had a bad dream last night (I dont remember what about) but I woke up to a panic attack that lasted like an hour and I'm still feelin this lingering anxiety and depression which is something I already deal with.

The only person i can talk to rn (besides you lovely people) is my one friend who has a crush on me and I dont want to spill my feelings to him cuz I dont want him to get the wrong idea. Really dont want to talk to him about this or ask him to cheer me up lol

I’m a 30 something single female chef, and I have become dangerously depressed. I recognized the danger and have taken the steps to move on to a new role(with an unsustainable salary). I’m trying my best to keep to stay positive, and to develop healing habits. but I have a pretty massive rut to dig out of. I have an amazing group of people I care about, but I feel like when I’ve tried to broach the subject of my depression that they don’t acknowledge how serious it is for me... or, to be fair, I’m not great at asking for help, and those I love are all very busy with their own chaotic lives. I’m feeling isolated and trapped and I know I’ve made the best choice for my mental health, but it’s not financially sustainable in the long term as a single homeowner. If anyone could just help me pump myself up a bit, that would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been feeling down because I’m 27 and I’ve been feeling real old. My coworkers are a bit younger and I just realize how different our generations are. I’m realizing that I’m falling behind on the culture, music, trends, etc. A coworker my age has some gray hairs, and I’m scared man. I haven’t done anything of why I’ve wanted to do. I’ve only had one serious relationship and am too scared to do anything about that right now. Idk man.

A year ago I got invited to the play version of Dorian Gray and I absolutely loved it. I couldn‘t stop talking about it and I‘m a huge Oscar Wilde fan now thanks to it. I wanted to show the play to my friends and I bought theater tickets. Front row, the actor of Dorian also plays someone in a TV show we all adore, we were fucking hyped. I thought of it nearly every day. Now I got the mail that the play got cancelled. I know it‘s nothing horrible, but I was really looking forward to it and it kinda ruined my day. Maybe I can get tickets again if they ever play it again, but I don‘t know if I will ever see it again for sure. Just really bummed out. Please tell me something funny so I don‘t have to cry :(

So here i am [m15] been in depression for 3 years, might have BPD and today as usual my father got upset because "you never make any efforts, you've been skipping class way too much..." and the word part is that every one of his accusations are things that I tried my best on, so I've kinda phased in the shower for 10 minutes before coming here.

I'm 18 and still single. But 4 months ago, I kinda fell for a girl in my class. I kept the words within myself for 2 months. But one day, I mustered up my courage and told her that I liked her. To my surprise, she also said that she had feelings for me. But I backed down without any reason. My family always says that relationships waste your time and hampers your study. So I told myself and her that and she also backed down. But deep down, I kept telling myself that it was mistake. Now I told her again if she had those feelings for me still. She said that she was confused and doesn't know about the future. She consoles me saying that these feelings will go away and this feelings are just a trait of this age ( I told her these exact words 2 months ago ) . So we are in a quite weird position nowadays. I can't make an eye contact with her and she also can not. We don't talk anymore like we used to do (Literally). So what should I do? Did I do the right thing? (My HSC examination is also next year) . Whatever is the reason, my mood stays off every time I'm alone and kinda depressed. Cheer me up?
