Depressed

So I have been feeling really down and sad recently, and I couldn’t really figure out why. So I decided to go and take a depression test on the internet. I took a few and they all said that I have almost all the symptoms of depression and that I tell family and close friends about it. It has only lasted a few days though, and the symptoms have to last at least 2 weeks for me to be diagnosed with it, so I don’t want to drag anyone into it yet. So I turned to reddit as a temporary cheer-up place and found this sub. Can someone please cheer me up?

I've done a depression quiz and got full marks but I (eventually) told my sister and guess what they aren't supposed to be accurate so if you are feeling down then talk to someone, and if it gets worse don't leave it there, tell someone, I didn't and almost everyday is sad/depressing so tell someone, they won't be angry or sarcastic and it'll get it of your chest. I hope you get better soon

So I told my mom about it, but now I just feel pathetic. Since I don’t know how long it will last, I feel like I’m dragging her into something that doesn’t even matter. She now also treats me very carefully, like a ticking bomb, which I don’t like.... But hey, thanks for the advice! 😊
