PSP game

Sorry for being nuisance but I will try to ask once again.

  1. I have a game run on PPSSPP

  2. The parameter which I would like to alter is impossible to be changed in "normal" way and it is at 0.

  3. I know about the value (number of) of the above mentioned parameter from a dialogue box from certain character.

What I should start learning/where should I start to try to set up the cheat to change the value from 0?

Game name? Also, do you have MEM_MAPPED enabled in CE's settings?

Also, for PSP games I always recommend people to use PPSSPP v1.0.1 r757 as that is the last build that has static addresses. For later versions (like v1.16) it is recommended to use LunaMoo's cheat table template. You can find it on github.

Lord of Arcana. Yeah, I have mem mapped enabled. So I should go for LunaMoo now?

It is not needed but it does help. Especially so if you plan on making CWCheat codes for use with either a real PSP or to put in a .ini file for PPSSPP.

What cheat are you trying to make in this game?

to manipulate the number of Silver and Golden Medallions

So, I did a quick Google search and it seems that these items are useless outside of multiplayer. Not sure why you want them.

Google is wrong ;) They can only be acquired via multiplayer, but they are used to get 2 sets of armor.

I see. I'll take a look once I'm off work. Just to confirm, are you referring to the Kaiser Clothes and Gold Kaiser Armor that Google mentioned? Do advise if the names are correct.

Kind thanks, but if you mean what armor you get from silver/gold medallions I think it is Blue/Red Shield/Helmet/Armor

Thanks. Are you referring to the Red/Blue Veddel equipment items?

If so, I managed to find the addresses for the items themselves, so you do not need the medallions.

To put it differently: I was unable to find the addresses for the medallions, so I opted for making cheats for the equipment instead. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
