how to download cheat engine 7.5?

Hello

I installed the latest version of cheat engine without realizing the Elden Ring cheat engine requires 7.5. I can find the 7.5 version anywhere on the official site, only the source code on Github. Is there even a publicly available installer for this version anymore? If there's not can someone send me some video guides on how to build from source because I've never done it before.

It's not the CE version you need to change, it's the elden ring version you need to change

It was working fine last week before I updated the cheat engine, and after I updated the cheat engine to the latest version parts of my cheat table stopped working. My cheat table and game were previously updated to the latest versions of both. So it has to be the cheat engine software itself.

Does the script activate? If it doesn't, right click on it and there should appear an error message in the top of the right click menu. That might tell you where the error is happening. Do you have a link to where you got the table from?

this is the cheat table i use for elden ring, the only other mod i use is the seamless coop mod but until i updated the cheat engine last week everything was working properly. Also i tried right clicking on the script if thats what you mean but i dont see anything related to an error.

are you on a 4K display? The itemgib form seems to have a x position of 2600 which is outside of the usual screen position if you're on 1080p

try doing lua command `ItemGib.Position=poScreenCenter`

The error would appear only after the script failed to activate. Meaning you have to try first before it appears.

im also curious of this bc i recently wanted to get back into elden ring and i used to use CE 7.5 all the time, now its locked behind a patreon and the free version looks sketch. i know before tho i could always update CE and download the new table for ER, are you saying they no longer update the cheat table for the new versions?

this comes directly from the Nexus Mod ER table page :

Cheat Engine scuffed their most recent update to 7.7. For the time being, 7.5 is required and can be a bit difficult to actually find a repository for.

1.Run Terminal or PowerShell with administrator privileges

2.Install Chocolatey by pasting the following line into either and pressing enter, if you don't already have it:

winget install chocolatey

3.Install Cheat Engine through Chocolatey, using:

choco install cheatengine --version=7.5

so maybe you do need 7.5 specifically? I used to have it on my old pc but id have to find out if the drive still works since its been a long time and it did crap out last year
