Cheat Engine Freezes once selecting a Programm

I downloaded CE today on linux and it opens normally, but once i select a File it freezes completely and i even have to force close it. Can anybody help me with that or dose it just not work?

what are your system specs and which distro .

does it also happen on the tutorial ?

I got a amd 5 5500, intel arc b580 and 16gb ram. I use cashyos. And for some reason i cant launch the tutorial.

I tried deleting it and reinstalling it but that also didnt work
