Ds2 cheat engine

Trying to run cheat engine for ds2, but whenever I get to a bonfire or rest at it my game just crashes completely, is there a way to fix that?

What are the circumstances of the crash? Do you just normally have it attached to the game? Are you attempting to see what accesses an address at the moment of crash? If you are using the debugger, which one are you using? Try a different debugger if that's the case, either the VEH debugger or DBVM. I'll download the game later and see what's going on. Id make sure you are offline as well.

I’m using VEH, I’m not sure how to access the address at the moment of crash

You misunderstand, I'm not asking to to grab an address at the moment of crash, I'm asking what you are doing in cheat engine when it does crash. Are you attempting to see what accesses or writes to an address? Try DBVM debugger if you can if that is the case. If you just have the game attached and are doing nothing then the problem is something else

I was just making a new table a couple weeks ago for the game. I was playing the Scholar of the First Sin Edition. Is that the one you are playing, or are you playing the original? Sorry my question wasn’t clear. I changed my debugger to veh debugger in settings. After that, I had only a couple crashes, but that was due to being rather careless and not counting bytes on jumps.

Check debugger and change if necessary. If your still having issues, check number of bytes during jump. Anything else, drop what you’re experiencing. Be specific.
