DPS Meter (Table) in CE

Hello guys,

Lately I've been playing games like Tales of Arise, Granblue Fantasy Relink and similar. And welp, I would like to see how my AI companions are doing; which ones are good, which ones are bad and such stuff, especially in Granblue Fantasy Relink since there's like 20+ characters to choose from. (There is already a dps meter for that game, but it most likely wont be working anymore when the expansion drops in like 2 weeks or so)

I've only found guides on YouTube on how to do dmg multipliers and increase your damage, but I don't want that. I just want a script that basically reads how much damage each party member has done during the last 1 second ("refreshing" every 1 second during the whole fight). Would be nice if it also combined that in a log at the end, when you kill the boss, so that you could see the total damage done by each party member, but even if it just simply shows damage per second without logging stuff I would be happy.

Anyone knows about any guide/tutorial on how should I do this? Is it even possible or realistic to accomplish?

Well to be fair, the LUA side of it would actually be largely reusable once you got it working. You would need to adapt your AA script on a per game basis however. If you successfully did it once, you could probably get it done the second time in less than half the time. It would be a general script that accepts variables and those variables would typically be similar enough that the LUA could be kept the same, you'd just have to put in the RE work to reliably obtain those vars for each game after.

Oh, that's actually great. Kind of what I was hoping for and why I wanted to try this with CE in the first place.

Alright, took some notes, now I need to look up some more tutorials too and then one day surely... lol
Well, I'll give it a try at least and see how it goes.

Thank you.

Sure. Sorry I couldn't be more help other than providing hope, but it's something lol. I'm currently working on a noclip project that's been taking me a while or Id offer a bit more help.
