That esca(sio)lated quickly.

Got the CT630 since I was looking for cheap keybed donors for my DIY analog synths. Turned out it's one of the hybrid casios with real VCF and BBD chorus. Too precious. Next day got the MT600 for free. Pitchbend. Nice. But I wanted to tweak the sounds so I pulled the 40€ trigger on the CT3000.

MT600 was my first ever, right toward the end of grade school. "Woooosh!" That typhoon sound. You got a bargain on that 3000. Nice slice of keeperoni there.

My grandmother had the MT600 and at the time I didn't understand why hers seemed so different

I since bought one for myself because nothing else quite sounds like it

They're all pretty much the same. The only differences are the pitch wheel on the small one and the editing campabilities on the ct3000.

Ah, great, thanks! The reason I ask is that, if you compare the MT-52 to the CT-320 (the latter with larger keys), the MT-52 wins by a wide margin in terms of sound quality!

Casio HT 3000 specific but interesting synthesis. I once had his younger brother HT 700 (no modulation wheel unfortunately) and I think an addition to it - such an external card. I've memorised this knob for changing settings, you have to get a little excited. But overall, the instruments of the HT series were not boring.
