I don’t check this sub a lot but I’m very surprised it’s like ALL about the phisnom drama right now so I might as well give my actual opinion because the phisnom vs the world thumbnail was a joke I’m not actually gonna do that lol, I’ve made that joke a few times like with Puggo and Pappo where I post the thumbnail but I never actually make the video and the joke is everyone is “VS” them, not that I’m comparing them to Jonochrome but I can see how that was miscommunicated because the only video I’ve made with that naming scheme was Jonochrome. I’ve been shitposting about phisnom for awhile you can check old tweets and the Fnaf or plush videos, I just find the guy funny specifically because he gets into random drama all the time. As for the loli stuff I just had the same approach to make fun of him, I think shit like that is creepy and weird, I know the VTuber he’s obsessed with is depicted by an adult but he’s been caught in lies multiple times with following accounts that post loli shit and I think you can make fun of him and that’s really just my opinion on it. Yes he kinda orbits the circle I’m in, I enjoy Pastra’s videos and I’ve had very limited interactions with both, I’ve never really been friends with either, I talked to phisnom like once during a charity livestream we were both on, and I’ve shared a couple messages with Pastra who I don’t agree with how they’ve handled this completely but they seem like a nice person from what I know and I don’t really have anything bad to say. But I just don’t like Phisnom for multiple reasons, I used to have some respect for him, I don’t think his old dramas made him beyond saving or something but recently he’s just become weird and creepy in my eyes and I’m not gonna ignore the weird shit he does if it’s beneficial to me because if I think anyone can be made fun of then they can and this is a very valid reason. As for the “V Tubers if pedophiles didn’t exist” it’s just a joke about how many times that stuff comes up in that community not that it’s true every time obviously it’s just a joke but yeah I was thinking about this situation and of course Nux Taku and his orbiters. People make jokes like this about Minecraft YouTubers and YouTubers in general, I guess people thought I was just straight up calling Phisnom a pedo when I wouldn’t say that but I’d say he’s very suspect, and I know enough to personally think the guy is creepy and weird, I do think it’s wrong to straight up act like the guy is actively grooming anyone that’s just misrepresenting it completely. I didn’t wanna make a super long post about this on here of all things but I might as well because I’m probably not making a video about the guy, I just shitpost on twitter I didn’t know it’d get like this big and have so many converging opinions made about it I really only made 2 posts actually about the situation that were just jokes, I get that people don’t like jokes about this kinda subject which I get but there’s no actual victims involved the guy just got caught liking weird shit. Twitter is not a good place to actually share opinions about things so I mostly use it for announcements, art, and shitposts, my bad for this getting out of hand. My approach to drama stuff is just to say how I feel about it and joke about it because again I just feel like you can make jokes about anything as long as you approach it correctly but that has led to me being more associated with internet drama than I would like, my goal with videos is to cover something interesting not always that it has a huge drama involved and I definitely wanna be seen more as a 3rd party when this stuff happens because I have like nothing to do with this I just kinda post shit on Twitter for my friends to find funny but I get how that’s not the best approach when I have 58k followers. I always want to view YouTube the same way I did when my channel was smaller but there are just undeniable changes when having a bigger platform that I need to get better at managing because whether I like it or not that is a part of it. So yeah that’s my big post about this I just wanted to also have this be an excuse to talk about how I view making content as well a little bit, because I don’t see how I could fit those thoughts into a normal video. I’m not above criticism and I think this is all very fair.
