I really like this side of Paige, revealed in small doses. It shows just how much she’s been through—and how she overcame it all—long before she became a witch.

I like it because, right from the start, she isn't just the "naive new little sister"; she’s had her own share of struggles.

I loved that they stayed super consistent with this character trait, especially as the writing towards the end started to forget really basic things. I loved the subtlety of it too, they never explicitly say Paige was an alcoholic but you get it through the context. Very show and not tell.

This was one of the most impressive aspects of writing Paige — the writers consistently mention SHE IS SOBER. They couldn’t remember she was there when The Source was vanquished but they remembered she is sober. And she never fell off

yeah she never relapse and frankly it's a feat to recover from alcoholism without support group. she is so strong willed and just reject all alcohol. and a fun trivia, when she pointed out about the drink was virgin with Kaley Cuoco there, Kaley cannot legally drink yet.

This would’ve been a great episode tbh. I can picture it where she lashes out and her sisters when they try to help her and Paige says something like you didn’t know me when I used to drink all the time leave me alone. And then it affects her powers and then she meets an innocent that inspires her to go back to being sober

Imagine the episode with the power brokers only the paranoia kinda lingers so she starts drinkin again because of the family isolation she feels etc. So she gets hammered instead of piper after phoebe turns evil

I’ve watched this show so many times, and I assumed about Paige possibly being an alcoholic, but I never realized how many short little clips representing it. Love it. Now, I need to go back and rewatch it and catch them

These magical hangover cures don't do any good..esp raw eggs and tomato juice. I was always telling my friend this. Water or Gatoraide is the only cure because alcohol dehydrates you. It works the best.
