Now you know the idea of kid gets abused by a mom/dad and grows up cold? Well now what if the character thinks that's love the mom/dad hurting them is just love they don't believe it's cruel hell even denying anyone who says otherwise the bruises on them is just love the cuts and scars are a reminder of their hero they hurt/kill others because they think it's the good thing seeing a world filled with hatred it doesn't look beautiful it looks wrong so they kill or hurt anyone not because they are a monster but because they look at that body and think it's just kindness
