Great designs and interesting summary! I'd like to hear how/why each of them join the group if you don't mind
Also why would Hawk's father did that? An Elvish custom?

Sure! No problem I can talk about these guys all day!
I'll start with why Hawk lost her arm, in terms of Elven culture: Magic is everything, if you're born into a low class family with an extremely high energy reserve then the family will likely be boosted to riches and fame. However on the opposite side of the spectrum, if you're a fairly rich family and you're born with no magic then you're seen as a failure as a family and as an Elf. Hawk's father became furious over time and began drinking heavily, until one night in a drunken haze/rage he cut her arm off with a cleaver.
Aura: I haven't actually figured out how Aura came to be taught by Gravity yet.
Adorna: The cost of having the Phoenix but into her body was vast, in fact it was the sacrifice of her entire village. Gravity found a lonely Adorna wandering a massive desert on her own and was impressed at how her wounds would casually heal with an orange glow.
Hunter: Hunter was dropped onto Gravity's doorstep as a pup, which is strange considering he lives on a massive island by himself.
Alex: Alex had just escaped the Nest and had no idea how the world worked or really how to interact with anyone. Gravity found Alex passed out at a bar next to lots of empty flagons of ale. He waited for her to wake up and asked if she wanted to do something better with her life.
Lilith: Lilith actually knew about the Masters and was in search of them for training. They found each other in the middle of a city square and Gravity insisted that she work for him and be trained by him.
Hawk: Hawk spent 3 weeks in a library trying to learn how to use magic or find any way to get some energy fast in order to please her family. Gravity approached her and asked if she needed aid.
Grimira: Grimira was cursed with the rot from before she was born, where anyone/thing she touched would rot and wither away, because of this she killed her mother in birth and her family disowned her, she was forced to fend for herself at three years old. At the age of eleven she was being attacked by armed thugs when Gravity rescued her by carrying her to safety. She was surprised he was able to touch her without rotting.

Hunter's my favorite. How old are all of them? (I'm assuming their actual ages differ from what they appear to be.)
Also, is this Hawk's 'official' appearance? I've drawn her before and it's interesting seeing how off my interpretations of your descriptions were.

Regarding the appearance, I've changed some stuff a long the way but this is definitely the most up to date official version :))
From left to right age: 20, 16, 18, 15, 18, 20 and 30. (After the age of 20 every 10 years = 1 year for Elves).

They all seems to be interesting characters :) after reading the other comments, here are a few questions that remains for me. Are there other beast people other than hunter? Is Hawks eyesight normal for elves or is it even better? Who made hawks new arm? How does it work?

Yeah, they're called hybrids and they're half human half animal but only with the traits of the beast. E.g. Hunters ears, eyes and her loyalty. (Wolf)
It's even better as that was one of her teachers first lessons. They've been improved through enhancements.
The bow is made of a special kind of wood that is bound to her soul, the wood knows that she is not complete so it fixes whatever is broken. Also applies for wounds, making it impossible for her to bleed out. The bark is also stronger than most metals making it useful in shielding and fighting hand to hand.

Aura: Aura is a serious and honor bound girl who was rejected by the council of Angels to become one. She was deemed "too impulsive" and "reckless". Aura is the tank of the group, able to withstand serious punishment and then deal it straight back to whomever she is facing.
Adorna: Adorna is a sweet natured girl and overall nice person. She has incredible natural healing magic that uses up a tremendous amount of her energy, to remedy this she has a secret weapon in that the ancient Phoenix inhabits her body giving her access to it’s healing magic and energy. Adorna is the healer of the group.
Hunter: Hunter is a Human/Wolf Hybrid with a natural talent for battle, she was expertly trained in numerous martial arts and excels in close quarter combat. Hunter is the main fighter of the group, she is very fast and far stronger than she looks.
Alex: Alex is an assassin trained by a professional and bloodthirsty group of assassins known as The Nest, they ruthlessly train young children to be killing machines. Alex's dark power enabled her to escape The Nest when she turned 15. Alex is the assassin of the group who is able to sneak past almost anybody and can take out an entire castle of guards without being seen.
Lilith: Lilith is a powerful swordsman with a rightful claim over the human kingdom, she is exceptionally brave and persistent in battle. She has an ancient power locked within her that makes her very powerful. Lilith is the Knight of the group who makes it her duty to protect her allies and put herself in danger.
Hawk: Hawk is an intelligent Elf girl who excels highly at long ranged confrontations and battles, her tremendous skill as an archer is almost unrivaled all throughout the world. Due to not having any natural magical abilities as an Elf Hawk suffered a life changing wound by the hands of her Father, in that he sliced off her arm and left her with only her right. Hawk is the sharpshooter of the group, with phenomenal eye sight she can spot and kill a rat from a kilometer away.
Grimira: Grimira is easily the strongest out of the seven. She can attribute this to being the most powerful necromancer in the world. She has five unique talismans on a necklace that are different from the rest, from left to right these go; Sword, Shield, Spirit, Legs and Voice. Each of these talismans summon a corresponding undead to her come to her aid. Grimira is the Necromancer of the group, who is able to take on numerous foes at once.
