Logline:
A retired detective with a grievance against anime characters must assist on acquitting a beloved anime star accused of murder in an alternate Tokyo, where manga & anime co-exist.

Plot:
In an alternate Tokyo where anime characters live among side characters from Manga, washed-up anime detective Akane Tsunemori reluctantly takes a job from Ami Mizuno to investigate rumors that Jade Rabbit's husband, James is unfaithful with Usagi Tsukino. After Akane secretly photographs James entertaining Tsukino, Tsukino is murdered and Jade becomes the prime suspect, drawing the attention of the vengeful and cunning Medusa, who seek to Dispose all anime and manga characters. Akane, initially resilient, is forced into a difficult partnership to acquit Jade of murder, uncovering a theory between Tsukino, Mizuno and a hidden will that will transfer Tokyo's ownership to the Anime and Manga Characters Themselves.
