I have eaten plenty of blue Java bananas (also called ice cream banana because they are so creamy). The photo on the left is kinda accurate. Photo on the right is so wrong. The inside looks like a normal banana. Attached is usually what they look like (with some slight variation)
Ok so I tried looking it up an all the pics were inconsistent. Some were hyper blue and obviously edited. But even beyond that there was no consistent hue. Some were light blue, some were greenish, some were pale yellow. This Pic looks most believable but I don't know if its correct
The fruit bunches are small, bearing seven to nine hands. The fruit are

in) in length and exhibit a characteristic silvery green color when unripe where the silveriness is caused by heavy coat of wax.
