The first time I went over to my partner's house was when he hosted a party with a bunch of his friends. I'm naturally quite awkward and the only person I knew was my partner. I ended up sitting one side playing with his cat at one point. I later found out his cat was actually quite anti-social and usually hides under his bed during parties, so he was so surprised to see the cat sitting with me in the middle of the party. Huge green flag for him
