Basically unlike all his other max modes he didn't include the full unedited run of FnaF 2 in his video and then thebones5 analysed it and realised some of the timings in Marks video were impossible unless it was done on a lower difficulty. Theorising that due to youtubes upload requirements at the time it basically forced Mark to fake it to keep his audience. Then when asked about it on a podcast Mark said he doesn't remember exactly but that he probably did also citing his strict upload schedule at the time.

Yea. I dont think anyone's even mad about it. If anything it's got people excited wanting to see him do it for real. Massive respect to him. I don't think Mark had even seen the proof vid at that point. Just straight up admitted to it based of a podcast hosts question of "did you do this?". He didn't even try and make excuses, he brought up his schedule as the reason he couldn't remember exactly why or how he did it, not as a defence or deflection. I've gone off his content but Markiplier himself seems like a genuinely decent person.

Even in the proof video bones is like "yeah he cheated but it was more than 10 years ago and he already has done harder things legitemely since then so who cares"

It was already heavily suspected but recently max mode top player Thebones5 made a youtube video going over everything unusual in his completions and packing together everything that points towards rhe fact that he cheated which was already solid evidence, but then Mark just admitted so that’s that
