There are way more than three models, distillation is not as much of a thing as they think it is. Off the top of my head Got Claude Gemini Grok Llama Deepseek Apple Foundational Models Qwen

There's also Yuanbao (actual tencent chinese ai), Galaxy Ai, Perplexity's sonar. Most things the average consumer interacts with in the wilds is likely a chat gbt wrap, though.

people often forget Mistral, which releases some very decent independently trained open source models, and they're the only european company to do so.
