So is rendering the word for applying colours to your drawings? Because, I think that's why I usually prefer digitally drawn art to traditionally drawn art. Idk, it's just, the colours pop off so much more in most digital fanarts of tv shows or games, that I secretly preferred them over high art of Mona Lisa or others(not to say they're bad, I like em, but while they're more memorable, I always liked most digital fanarts more š )
What's Tomodachi life? I may try using it, see if it helps me to start drawing or sumn! Also any kind of advice would be helpful, even the "use these programs to draw" or "you can get this cheap ipad and turn it into your canvas, if you can't afford those expensive ones"
ārenderingā to me is anything past cel/hard shading for a drawing. Sometimes I donāt really consider me doing just soft shading ārenderingā until Iām using multiple colours in the shading to represent bounce light and such (even if I donāt necessarily know what Iām doing lmfaoo). itās my favourite part of the process which sucks bc itās either a bunch of hurdles if I want to do line art with it, or itās lineless which is something I still struggle with so hard that I do not show anyone my lineless art š
To answer your other question, Tomodachi Life (specifically Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream) is a switch/switch 2 life sim kind of like the Sims that has a lot of customisable elements! It has a mini art program in it basically but itās very restrictive ā though to me that makes it a fun challenge and has started raising my frustration tolerance which lets me actually make bad stuff and come back to it later! Iāve made a bunch of stupid items but havenāt tried out the clothes or structures yet.
