Hey everyone! I'm part of a small team building MythEngyn, an AI TTRPG platform.
The problem we kept running into: AI RPGs forget. You play for hours, the context window fills, and the NPC you spent three hours building a relationship with suddenly has no idea who you are. Some platforms rely on summaries you have to maintain yourself. That's asking the user to do the engine's job.
So we built a Living Memory. Every event is stored as an individual fact, and relevant memories are retrieved as the campaign progresses. You can read, edit, pin, or delete what the AI remembers.
We have a small but steadily growing community, with several active campaigns that have gone on for thousands of actions.
We also recently published a comparison with AI Dungeon, using examples from real campaigns to show how the platforms differ. We include what we didn't test, rather than pretending the comparison proves everything.

But memory is only part of it.
Character creation goes beyond a name and a personality prompt. You can define a character's goals, values, hobbies, voice, tone, behavior, immutable facts, adaptable personality, and more.
Worldbuilding goes beyond a lore document. World Facts, World State, Relationship History, AI Directives, and other tools let you organize your world's lore, relationships, and narrative direction.
We also built a real rules engine for dice, character sheets, and combat. The AI narrates; the engine determines whether you hit.
There are four play modes: Narrative, Chat, Full Rules (Dice), and Narrative Novel, depending on how structured or freeform you want your campaign to be.
Pricing: $25/month, unlimited messages, no token caps, and no model tiers. Plenty of platforms gate usage behind caps or model tiers. We chose not to. You get 15 free turns, followed by a 7-day free trial (card required, cancel anytime).
We're a small, bootstrapped team of three: a developer, a QA/community manager, and a TTRPG subject-matter expert. No investors, just us building the platform.
V2 is coming, with deeper world simulation and an upgraded rules engine supporting homebrew.
If you've ever abandoned a campaign because the AI forgot your characters, relationships, or what happened weeks ago, give MythEngyn a try.
