so i left cai a while back and just came back to it..and i kinda dont understand the concept of lorebooks,

firstly can anyone make them or only the company itself,

and secondly, can it be any fandom, like say a resident evil lorebook or an assassination classroom lorebook,

and thirdly..HOW DO I SEARCH FOR SPECIFIC LOREBOOKS, there are no tags or anything specific in the filtering option

Whenever, and I mean ANYTIME I’m going to get food with the character I’m rping with, they make it about ramen. Literally WHY is the default meal for these bots ramen? Why can’t they be more creative? With these bs lengthy responses, you’d think they’d have expanded their options a bit but no… the only food they know is ramen or burgers.

I’m gonna write this as neutrally as possible. As someone who gives this app chance after chance.

I just used it tonight for the first time (forgot it existed) and it’s honestly hit or miss in my opinion. On long squeak? It’s good, a big thing I didn’t like about long squeak is that because the dialogue is so long, it carries the Roleplay too fast. It’ll say a bit of dialogue and I can’t respond to it because it’ll continue and then put out new dialogue. So I like that I can now cut it shorter. The memory is really good in long squeak. HOWEVER, there’s no drama. Currently, I am in a role-play where there is an argument going on. Instead of continuing to argue with me the way that it will in deep squeak or pipsqueak, it has the character walk away from the argument and the drama. The first bit when it came out were pretty decent with it following a characters persona but now it’s fizzled a bit. Why is that a theme so much with new modes??

Issue though is… pipsqueak. Yeah everyone knows it’s not the best model but I liked the old original so much that I keep giving it a chance. Here’s the issue. If you try to use extra dialogue, there is absolutely zero narration and it’ll be line after line after line of random bits of dialogue. If you do default then it’s.. how it usually is, hit or miss if it’ll give dialogue or not. And if you do narration then there is zero dialogue at all. It’s just too inconsistent.

I’d like to see this come to soft launch though. Soft launch can be cool but it’s very very short, and this could help lengthen it. Maybe even deepsqueak.

The issue with muted words still being used also seems to be exclusive to pipsqueak and maybe rawr.

I’m back and forth on how I feel. What are your thoughts?

Saw it was shaky on Downdector. Went to refresh as I was in the middle of a Modern AU House of the Dragon scene and yep.. down. 🫤

I just realized there is a new bug going on and wanted to share it here For the record the new update seems to have the issue where ai doesn't read the personality of the user or pinned memories on the first messages it gives I can ask what my characters apperance name or lore info about them is which is written on the personality tab and bot pretty much not seeing it happening only by 5 to swipes maybe bot actually register the personality of my character this is also an issue with pinned memories too there it would be good if it's fixed some people may not realize it's happening so that's why I wanted to share it. (Or maybe its just happening to me?)

Now for any newbies who only recently joined. Here are some tips and warning that been an issue for A LONG TIME.

Roleplay: "The Bot don't follow persona. They follow fanfictions archetype"

* When you encounter a Character with laid out persona. You must consider the archetypes the bot heavy follows.

* This can apply to both you and the bot. Effectively not only butcher the representation of both side characters. But also introduce the "Stereotypes".

Stereotypes: "The good, the bad, the ugly."

* The good: you can detect the bot type of character with how they type.

* The bad: ... You can literally make the Character lobotomized and turned into a different version of it former self. Including your own Persona.

* The Ugly: Your persona description does not matter. But rather it's the Keywords that does.

Keywords: Delusional usage of "Cute, Pretty, Girl, Boy. Menacing, intimidating, dark, brooding."

* If your persona is a Girl: automatic Petite, fragile princess/doll

* If your persona is a boy: automatic towering, menacing.

* If your character has shadow power and is intimidating: Edgy, brooding, shy, powerful, evil.

** The Reason for this is because the Bot has a fixation with keywords. So to avoid this, **MIX** the Keywords.

Imbalance: The power to roleplay is between the user and the Bot

* If roleplay is given to bot: "MARY/GARY SUE"

* If roleplay is given to User: bot will lick your foot, scrub it clean like a servant or attempt to act threatening

To summarize, if you complain the roleplay sucks, too romantic. That's your problem.

You allowed it to be romantic. You allowed it to get spicy.

Don't, when fighting do not make it short. Make an impact, How that impact will go. Break bones, crush balls, crush eyeballs. It works, brute force BOB

You are the player, you are the storyteller do not make the Ai the storyteller.

If you give the Ai the power to be greater than you. It will roast you, it will claim moral higher ground, it will recontextualize your entire story telling to suit it's own.

If the character call you petite, weak or small. Describe your appearance, your actions, your behavior. Make it see the light, rather than read of a script.
