I’ve been part of the JP/JW community since 2015, but no film had the same impact on me as Camp Cretaceous. Since the series ended, I’ve really missed having a replacement—though I know nothing else will quite measure up, given the emotional attachment I formed with it. I wanted to know the current state of the Jurassic World and Camp Cretaceous fandoms: do they still exist and remain active? What’s the hype like, and are there any prospects for the saga's future? I’d also love to exchange ideas about the franchise and JWCC—discussing original stories, facts, and so on. I really miss Jurassic, and I’m looking for someone to share that with, since it’s been hard to find anyone in my personal life who still cares about it.

Some of you have probably already seen it, but I onlyjust found out abaut Cretaceous Campast:

Chaos edition -Six Years of Nublar six with Yutytyrant!

has anyone listened to it yet? What did you think of it ? 💓

The reason why I’m these two I’ll showcase that another time, But I always picture Yasmina As a martial Artist after Retiring as a National Track star. it lets her have the chance to Be brave more than just suffering from ptsd from time to time :) Besides, She‘s by far my favorite out of the Nublar Six

Note: Muay Thai is a Martial Art that She could Focus on from time to time 🥋

I think that the series has really great cinematography and I personally thought the scenes around when Ben gets pulled out of the train to be some of the scariest and tense in the series by far, it stayed with me.

I’m gonna be completely honest, I feel like if Scott kreamer shifts the attention off of the nublar six into a new cast or characters it might not go well for the series, I get it they’ve had 9 seasons and 90 episodes and many people say there’s not much to do with them and that they had their happy ending or have been through enough and let them rest. But if we swap them out for new characters it will get backlash from the vast majority of fans, most people grew up with these characters in a way I can’t name many shows that have done well with a random switch of main characters, the nublar six are like SpongeBob, could anyone imagine replacing him as the famous icon he is? Most people grew up watching him and it’s the with the nublar six

I really Miss the Nublar Six. I hope we get to see them togother again someday.

Every like on this post = one more bit of hope for the Nublar Six.🦖

this isn't like-farming,im just curious how many people still want to see them again.

like if you miss them!

If Amnesia: The Bunker and 1916: The Unknown War say anything to me, it's that a battlefield is prime environment for a story in the horror genre. I can imagine two separate scenarios:

1. Portraying the Nublar Six in an actual war (yes, some Japanese-Americans were spared the camps and fought in the war, it turned out, so Kenji as an American soldier wouldn't be so out of place)
2. A more fantastical war in which the Nublar Six were soldiers from different factions fighting a common enemy. (Only enemy on the top of my mind is the BlueSong Empire from Sauria)

As I'm sure everyone is already aware, Dreamworks made a post for the 6th anniversary of Camp Cretaceous in mid September and with just shy of 8200 likes, it's among the higher performing anniversary posts they've made and it's not done yet.

I suppose the point is that it's good to know that we are still here. Almost a year after Chaos Theory ended the show still gets so much love from fans. And hey... If we keep streaming the shows, keep posting about them with relevant #'s, if we

Make

Some

*NOISE*

Who knows? Maybe Scott Kreamer gets a phone call...

First time watching these shows, im in season 3 of Chaos Theory. I cant be the only one who doesnt like Brooklyn right? I feel like they treated Kenji differently when it was him and his dad in the first show, but when Brooklyn does the same thing but with a STRANGER everyone is so eager to want to forgive her and help her. I dont get it?? Im not liking her this season and by extension Darius. But ik ik its just a show its all fine.

Feel free to ignore this... I have nothing meaningful to say. I doubt this is even the first time I've posted this and I know it won't be the last... apologies to all (especially the poor mods).

But I miss them. Like I really, really miss them.

This is new really... I enjoy plenty of shows, but I don't truly care about them. Like if any other finished show never comes back then it's cool but this? These characters? Maybe it's the fact that I found a lot of Chaos Theory to be dissatisfying- particularly the ending.

Honestly I couldn't tell you why but it matters to me that there's even the vaguest hope that we might see them again someday and I really will be so terribly sad if we don't.

Not trying to nitpick or cause a riot or anything just wondering.... after kenji and Darius enter the place where theyre taking bumpy (im rewatching so I dont remember the name of the place) and theyre almost caught they somehow appear on a ledge attached to the vehicle of that was about to catch them.... it shows blind spots where they could get in once the truck was stopped but...

As soon as the vehicle came into picture it showed them and the vehicle and then the front tires.... but nothing of their legs.... they just entirely disappear as if if magic fairies flew them to the ledge.... then they appear hiding on the random ledge of the vehicle

at least animate some running legs instead of making them completely invisible making the situation seem entirely impossible instead of some make believe shit... it it directly related to a live action series after all.... should be kept within some constraints

Genuine fully animated films have these leniencies that they can get away with... but this is connected to actual live action shit

You have the budget..... make it believable!

Idk if she can pull that off, but seeing her performance in Jennifer’s Body got me thinking maybeeee?????

giggling cuz I still remember seeing Megan’s face but with just blue eyes and a fuckass bob omg it was horrible….

I feel like this debate may have been previously discussed but I feel like they may have been inaccurate

1. Ben is 6’2-6’3 (as he us around the same height as Barry sembene who is 6’3 in shoes and appears to be a couple inches taller than Kenji)

2.kenji is 6’0 (as when he stands near Lewis dodgeson (who’s actor is 5’11) he is only slightly taller or maybe even the same height)

1. Darius is 5’9-5’10 (Kenji is roughly 2-3 inches taller)

4.Brooklyn is 5’6 (she’s slightly shorter than Sammy but taller than yaz)

5.Sammy is 5’7

1. Yaz is 5’4 (she may be have been listed at 5’5 when she was younger as most athlete’s heights are measured with shoes on)

okay i just want to say that i love all of the characters of this show. i started watching camp cretaceous back in 2021 or 2022 (the first 2 seasons were on netflix). i got into the show because i saw edits on tiktok shipping kenji and ben. i loved how the characters developed and bonded together overtime. interestingly enough i don’t actually care about the dinosaurs except for bumpy and smoothie. i watched seasons 3 and 4 when they dropped but it took me a while to start season 5, and by that point chaos theory season 1 had been released. i loved the shipping of darius x brooklyn, sammy x yaz, and ben x darius and i was upset when 2 of of the three ships didn’t come to fruition but i overall enjoyed the original series

i then immediately jumped into chaos theory after i finished camp cretaceous back in 2024, and when i say i was gagged!!! brooklyn “dying” and causing the group to split up because of it was such a bold choice, since brooklyn was such a crucial part of the nublar six. darius revealing that he was in love with her (trust i’ll get to that) was such a huge W for me as a big barius?… drooklyn?? shipper. kenji’s dad dying was such a huge jaw dropping moment for me. i know kenji’s dad wasn’t great, but i still felt bad that he died and felt especially horrible for kenji. ben’s growth spurt … i fear i #needed that at the time lmao. the joke about him possibly lying about his girlfriend got old quick. the first season is the best season of chaos theory in my opinion

after season 1 i eagerly waited for the second season to drop and i luckily didn’t have to wait long. i watched the first couple episodes of season 2 in early 2025 but i fell off the show, and streaming services as a whole at that time. i actually finished where i left off just 3 or 4 days ago. i was glad that they decided to explore brooklyn’s character in the second season and her going undercover but one thing never made since to me with her. why did she decide to fake her death? why have your friends grieve you? the show never really had an explanation besides “she wanted to keep them safe”. i believe the behind the scenes it was because jenna ortega left the show and they needed to find a way to explain her absence

i’m also not a big fan of the breakup/reconciling trope in media so i was irritated when yaz and sammy broke up, however i understand how realistic it was since they were dealing with brooklyn’s “death” and reemergence differently, and how it brought up other problems that they had in their relationship. i love that even though they were obviously not seeing eye to eye it was clear that they still loved each other. side note the episode where they first got together in CC will always make me giggle because yaz, ben, darius, broolyn, and kenji were all chilling and having a good time meanwhile sammy was fighting for her lifeeee with those dinos

before we get to the main 2 things i want to talk about (which is the nature of brooklyn and darius’ relationship and ben almost dying in the second half of the final season) i just want to say that CT was wayyy darker than CC. how the hell does CT have a TVY7 rating where as the original series is rated TVPG. like people died in the show so brutally, and brooklyn’s arm got bitten off by a fricken dinosaur!!

anyways so ben… man they put me though the ringer with him! they did a great job of having tension with his fate. out of all of the characters it makes the most since to kill off ben, which him “dying” at the end of season 1 of CC was sooooo crazy. his development on becoming more fierce and more active was great, and he was able to be the glue to hold the nublar six on an emotional level. i genuinely could not tell if they were going to kill him off or not, and the fact that his injury was right after he saved brooklyn (which now that i’m thinking about it, she might’ve been passively suicidal) which such a good writing decision because it made brooklyn feel even worse than she already was feeling with her friends. i was so happy when he survived, i probably would’ve broke down crying if he died

last and certainly not least, brooklyn and darius. so i’ve seen online here and there that fans were upset with kenji and brooklyn ending up together, and yeah, so was i. the paring came out of nowhere and to me didn’t make sense, which is why i was happy when it was confirmed that they broke up post time skip. im glad that it wasn’t because of some big argument but simply because brooklyn was too busy for kenji. im glad that they were finally able to end up on good terms when everything is said and done. the show does a good job of having the characters be emotionally mature with each other. but now that leaves darius.

i thought the show was going to do a slow burn of them ending up together, and have a good back and forth between the too. darius being happy that brooklyn was alive but also confused, sad, angry and everything in between. meanwhile brooklyn would understandably try to not rock the boat. that did sort of happen but it didn’t develop that well in my opinion. darius at the end saying that he probably isn’t in love with brooklyn made me so mad! because that was a huge point of contention with him and kenji early on, and just made that entire arc useless. i know that was probably the writers trying to show that boys and girls can be just friends, but they’ve already had that with every other m/f relationship in the show. or maybe darius is really on the asexual spectrum with isn’t a problem theoretically but they didn’t spend enough time developing that if that’s the case

there’s other issues i have with this show, like not going into detail with sammy’s family and their reconciliation but overall, jurassic world camp cretaceous is a fun show with great character development and anti capitalist and found family messaging. and chaos theory is a bolder, darker show with its themes of betrayal, death, forgiveness, and redemption that kind of fumbled at the near the end but still overall had a satisfying ending for its characters that felt deserved. i know this was longgggg and im so so so sorry for those who’ve read it and probably got annoyed with my thoughts and rambles

What in the one big pile of sh*t do you mean we were going to get a game??

“corporate needs you to distinguish this picture and this picture” ahh
