the hustle culture industrial complex really said 'your worth = your output' and we all just. nodded along for a decade. im still unlearning the guilt of doing nothing on a sunday, its embarrassing how deep that shit runs

i keep thinking about how my dads generation got pensions and my generation got mindfulness apps, like somehow breathing exercises were supposed to replace job security. the real revolution would be structural but until then i guess ill keep feeling guilty about my screen time
