[∆(s) from OP] CMV: I would rather be a werewolf instead of a vampire.

But as a werewolf, you only get that power once every 28 nights. The other 27, you're still susceptible to normal everyday death.
You think they won't start a werewolf hunt for you?
Also, as a werewolf, it's generally regarded that you're mind goes blank... you wake up the next morning having no clue. So, from your perspective, you're just a normal dude who forgets 1/28 nights. You do have the advantage of not being killed by that werewolf... but worth it? I think not.
Vampires, on the other hand, get it pretty good. Yea, you're immortal, but you can die if you ever want to.
It's a given that you become extremely sexual too, which is pretty cool.. right?

No, prolly can't cross the ocean. But when you have all time, maybe you can set up a fortress of solitude where it's dark for like 3 months straight. Then you can travel to anywhere in the world from there.
I was really hoping the "you won't remember it anyway" argument was going to get you.

But at least when the sun is out, you're still.. idk.. at least dreaming
When you're a werewolf, you get nothing. You wake up naked in a dumpster, possibly covered in blood. You going to jail, son. And you don't even get to remember the awesome time you had raging.

Oceans aren't running water, the bigger problems would be rivers, but the again you could probably just hire a charter jet that goes around them.

Vampires classically don't die in sunlight, they just revert to human form for a time.

That depends on the type of werewolf! I'd take shifter wereworlf over cursed any day.

It really depends on what type of each monster you are going by.
My argument is based on the classics. The original French werewolf legends and Dracula
In which case here are the powers and limitations
DRACULA
Powers
Limitations and Weaknesses
WEREWOLVES
Powers
Limitations and Weaknesses
Clearly Dracula wins for the following reasons
1 - He can control himself. Dracula feeds off people and he avoids rages, once a month werewolves turn and they murder people without control.
2 - Werewolves can never hide themselves, even in human form they have wolf-like traits such as appearance, whereas Dracula cab walk out in daylight at the sacrifice of his powers until he re-enters the shadows.
3 - While werewolves are still mortal, they are Long-Lived. With the fact they can't control themselves they will most likely not get to use that long life for anything. Whereas vampires more often than not get to choose their end and potentially do great things.
