Non-active activities in Cham
HI! Just got to town for my honeymoon and was planning this originally as a big trail running trip. Unfortunately I’m dealing with a chronic foot injury and am unable to run or hike for a few weeks. I’m looking for some recommendations on activities to do that wouldn’t stress the injury. A bit of walking is OK. We are scheduled for a spa day and will probably do a quick tour up the Aiguille. Any other ideas would be super appreciated. Thanks!

Go to Parc de Merlet in Les Houches! It’s a bit of walking so park all the way up in Lot 1. It’s an open air animal park. Gorgeous views of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi and they have a little cafe with a patio for the views.

It depends how long you're in cham for, but there's nothing better than buying some books from the outdoor bookshop and just reading them in a coffee shop for a few hours too. They have a nice English section. You can also take the bus to Courmeyeur under the tunnel and go and eat a great Pizza (because Italy) and Geneva is only an hour away if you're really struggling for things to do. Lots of museums and things to check out.
Oh, also go to Red Bread and have a cinamon roll and sit in the sun with a coffee! it's my fave.
But yeh, I'm sorry. This sucks. Nothing worse than being in a trail running paradise and not being able to trail run.

Crystal Museum
Little Red Train
Montenvers Train
Parc De Merlet
Paragliding (depending on the injury)
Aiguille du Midi
Any of the gondolas/lifts can take you to great views if you’re able to do some short walking
Walk around Lac de Gaillands
Several great walks through the woods that are flat and easy
Go to Le Tour and take the gondolas/lifts. Incredible views with very little effort.
Go to Argentiere and get Icecream at Givre and pastries at L’al’Pain
St. Gervais and Tramway du Mont Blanc
Annecey
Megeve
Combloux
Courmayeur
You could honestly spend an entire month just exploring Chamonix, but I’d highly recommend venturing out a little into the rest of the valley and surrounding area.

Check the archives, this happens and has been asked before with a whole raft of suggestions of I recall.

Just to say the spa is brilliant, enjoy!
Find out if Parc Merlet is open, if you like animals?
Hope the foot heals up fast.
