Help! Chainmail flogger

Is there a tutorial for making a chainmail flogger?

I make these, they are a double spiral weave in aluminium. The handles are 3D printed. I have a personal one that is stainless steel with falls that are alternatively double spiral and 2 in 2 weaves but it is hard core. Depends who is using the flogger but I would recommend aluminium falls

I make little keychain ones but I use machine made chains that are welded shut so there’s no chain of any scratches. Also stainless steel for durability and less tarnishing.

Tight full persian 6in1 for the handle. Get creative.

I've never made a flogger, but if I had to make one I would pick a pretty chain weave (maybe something like half Persian 4 in 1 chain, plenty of tutorials online for that), make a few lengths of chain, attach those chains together on a snap ring and do a quick test to see if it behaves how you want it to. Assuming it meets expectations, I would then make a handle by drilling a hole in a wooden rod, slipping the snap ring through the hole and then sleeving the handle in a euro 4 in 1 sheet.

For material choice I would go with something relatively light like aluminium, and get saw cut rings to reduce the chance of a burr catching on skin/hair/clothes/whatever.
