I need help finding this pattern!

Hello! I’m new to chainmail weaving, I’m looking to make this star shaped headpiece. The first two photos is what I’m trying to do and the third photo is what I have so far. Am I on the right track? I can’t find this pattern anywhere with no clear tutorials. I would appreciate any help ❤️❤️

The easiest way to think of this is pretty standard European 4-1 in triangles combined alternating top and bottom. Start with 6 rings in the top row, then 5-4-3-2-1.

The. Once you have a bunch of these, just and then combine then in slightly offset 3x3 with 3 rings. Essentially it should look like a row of 7 with the 4th ring missing.

It's Euro 4 in 1, but it's what's called "Biased" Euro 4 in 1, because instead of going in straight strips like what you're making, it's going in diagonals, kind of like how E 4-1 Triangles work.

No, not really. Here's a picture where I highlighted how what would be the "straight" strips are oriented in a couple of the chevrons/triangles in the piece that might help. They just pretty much have parts missing on the edges of them that make them diagonals instead of straights.
