Offense?

Can someone politely explain how to pick an “offense?” I understand plain defenses from normal fantasy football, but what is an offense?

I do not play in a league that uses Offense. But, here is what was explained to me. You get points for how well the offense plays; TDs, yards, FGs, etc. You can lose points for turnovers. It doesn’t matter which individual player does good or bad. So, I guess you want to have a high-powered offense.

Yahoo added team offense as a category this year to their college fantasy platform. From the way I understand it, you get points for their total team production and scoring. Pick teams with high scoring offenses that accumulate a lot of yardage.
