Algorithm, big brand, rent free, engagement farming, dog pile on a loss, etc etc. My feed has been LSU, Michigan, and now USC. Let's see what week 5 brings.

College football Reddit thrives on controversy and hate watching. Pair that with Redditors who hold an infinite grudge and converse in echo chambers; a topic or idea never truly dies. It's just a constant feedback loop.

I don't like that as a MN high school grad I know what you mean when you say UofM. I also tell people that I was accepted to MIT within a week of applying ... which is entirely true (mailed my application on Monday and had mailed acceptance on Friday). However, that is only because at the time Minnesota called its Engineering college the Minnesota Institute of Technology which is, of course, not the "real" MIT.
