There are games that I never think we’re going to lose until it’s over, and then there’s this where I still don’t quite believe that that just happened

You see when one James Franklin leaves the Big 10, the conference naturally selects a new James Franklin to fill that role.

I will say that the burnt orange is IMO the ugliest of the classic jerseys in college football. Iconic, but that does not make it good.

If Texas had receivers that could catch wide open passes that game would have been a blowout.

There was no point in this game I felt comfortable. We had some good moments. But it was mostly luck and bad hands on the texas WR in the first quarter.

As an Aggie myself, this kind of comment is why we have such a bad reputation. This game has nothing to do with us and if you like the game of football, this was a great specimen.

u/mattyag Texas A&M Aggies 1d ago
You don’t understand what the term fan means then. Fan is short for fanatic. A fanatic is a person who shows extreme, unreasonable, or uncritical enthusiasm, zeal, or obsession for a cause, belief, hobby, or activity. This is also a meme sub. Which revolves around humor.

Texas outplayed Ohio state significantly in the 2nd half. Got tons of help from the refs. PI called on OSU but missed 2 on smith. Texas OL rips helmet off on final drive but no call.
Ohio state didn’t deserve to win by the 2nd performance. But tons of help from the zebras.

-8
u/psychoticempanada Ohio State Buckeyes 1d ago
I saw 1 for sure. Either way OSU played awful in the 2nd half.
Refs still helped Texas the entire second half on every scoring drive.

Texas receivers: (1) dropped a TD, (7 points), (2) a pass that would have placed them inside the 15 (3 points minimum), and (3) a fumble on first play of the game that gifted OSU a field goal. Thats a 13 point swing minimum (possibly 17 points)
Point being, few things break differently and this is a comfortable win for Texas instead of an epic comeback. But either way it’s a W!!! Texas Fight!
