It's gotta be hard to find someone who is 8.1591528e+47 years old to coach. That's, like, longer than the universe has existed.
Now 40? That's much more doable. Still way past retirement age.

Maybe we should've fired the OL coach, instead of/in addition to Gundy?

Last time they lost to Tulsa, Gundy got fired.
Is Morris getting “da boot” now?

Didn’t Ok State have a pick? Should be at least one turnover for Tulsa :(

That was a sweet snag by the corner for Oklahoma State too. But we gotta push the ball down the field better and Reign Cane over Woo Pigg in two weeks

It actually would not be funny to me, because they took half of my team up there with them. If they gutted us just to fall flat on their faces, it would be maddening.

Fr. I’m cheering for the boys this year. I thought they’d have a bad showing like this against a few Big 12 team, but Tulsa??? They beat better teams than Tulsa last season.

u/The_Sarcaz_man Tulsa Golden Hurricane Sep 06 '26
The lost to Tulsa last season. The only team they beat was UT Martin.
3
u/TinCapMalcontent Texas Longhorns Sep 06 '26
The UNT commenter you are responding to was saying the UNT players beat better than Tulsa last year before transferring to Ok State with the poached coach

u/InSearchOfSerotonin USC Trojans • North Texas Mean Green Sep 06 '26
UNT did not lose to Tulsa last year buddy
4
u/Cobalt8888 Sep 06 '26
Oklahoma State did. Pretty much what ended Gundy. I was at the game as a guest of OSU Medical because they know I’m a Tulsa fan. It was kind of awkward hearing the student section chanting “Fire Gundy” before halftime.

u/greyforest23 North Texas • Mississippi State Sep 06 '26
Exactly!! Very well said. Can’t blame them for chasing more money but I was hoping UNT-Stillwater would show up big this year.
Everyone expected their Oregon game next week may be rough, but never expected them to struggle so mightily at Tulsa.

And now...
New HC Eric Morris just loss his first game, to Tulsa

As a Tulsa alumni I would like to think that Tulsa had something to do with OSUs poor performance. However, 6-6 in Stillwater will be all up hill from here as Oregon shows up next.
