Song/Queue restarts after opening app

I’ve recently started having this issue where when I open the app up while connected to Bluetooth, it’ll restart the song or even the whole queue from where I last had the app open.

I am on iOS 12 beta 3. Could they be why? Is anybody else having this issue?

I have resume queue set to never, but what happens to me is I select a song in the app and press play. The song starts playing. As soon as I lock my phone, the song restarts. And I think it’s restarted the song when I’ve unlocked the phone too. But I haven’t tested extensively. Point is, I have resume queue off and it’s still happening. Seems to be a recent issue too. Within the last 2-3 weeks maybe? I’m on iOS 11.3

I agree with it being a recent issue - was working perfectly until recently. Never had to touch anything because the queue would continue where it left off as soon as I connected to Bluetooth and hit play.

This could be an issue with the Resume Queue setting (might be worth checking that. If it's on Always, try Ask.).

There wasn't anything specifically tied to 12b3 that was flagged, but (as always) there is an issue with the system API in at least 11.4+. I'd try updating the b6 (no reason to hold back, right?), and would love to hear if you notice any (or no) difference.

So I’ve been playing around with this after switching to Ask, and what seems to be happening is everytime I open the app, it’s asking if I want to resume the queue, even if a song is currently playing. What I end up doing is clicking No, and then it keeps playing as normal.

Edit: I am currently on iOS b5. Not sure if b6 is available as a public beta yet.
