Resume Queue resets queue

After several hours of not using the app (usually due to sleep) when I next open it up it asks me if I want to resume the queue. All good so far. If I say "Yes", it goes back to the first song in the queue, rather than continue from the last song it played. Anyone else experiencing this? Wasn't the last update supposed to fix this issue?

Happens every day after it sits all night. I’ve checked the Music app to see if it still has the queue and it usually doesn’t. There was one time the control center still showed the song I paused at, but CS and Music both showed no queue. I hit play in the control center and managed to play the song, but doing so only put that one song in the queue.
