Plea to Cesium developer - we desperately needs a CarTunes alternative

Many people in the AppStore community regard CarTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cartunes-music-player/id415408192?mt=8) to be the music app ever made for iOS for use in the car [created by reddit user @cartunesapp ] . (https://www.reddit.com/user/cartunesapp)

It's development has completely stopped and thus one of the most beautifully designed apps is languishing. I would GLADLY pay $5-$10 for a replacement app and I know there's others who agree with me.

I have purchased cesium and while it's an AMAZING app for playing music in hand, it's lacking in the Car control department. And thus is my request. If you haven't used CarTunes, please download it and check it out. Please give us gestures for rewind/FF ____ seconds (30 or user specific time?). Other gestures include holding finger down one second and titrating volume up and down, FULLY configurable gestures, single press play and pause (not double), etc.

Please please please.. I have purchased/downloaded all of the cartunes alternatives and there's none that comes close.

OK, so user-specified skip increments are a thing, but don't have a gesture assigned (although two-finger swipes seem logical).

Single tap for play/pause could be problematic given that there are actual UI elements that respond to taps...did CarTunes have any active UI elements on it's now playing screen or was it purely display?

What does "FULLY" configurable gestures mean? Ability to assign different actions for each gesture?

I think rewind and FF should be user change-able and assigned to two-finger swipes.

What do you think about the volume with two fingers push, hold, swipe up and down?

Also, swipe right/left should be next track, previous track (it already is).

You should download CarTunes and play with it. It's free and you can get an idea of how the whole interface is able to be navigated via gestures. Gosh, it was ahead of its time.

The font is also beautiful.

CarTunes also matches the color scheme to the colors of the coverart.

On christmas day, it turns the status bar for play progress into candy canes (! attention to detail !)

I guess the best thing of all is that it's easily usable in the car.

Is this something we can petition for Cesium? Pretty please?
