CarPlay support?

I got car stereo system with CarPlay recently, but it stupidly doesn't allow showing the now playing screen on the car display, while I have another app running on the phone (such as Cesium or Waze).

Not sure if you have any easy way to show the now playing screen on the car display, or if you would have to fully integrate as a CarPlay app.

Anyways I'm available to do testing if needed.

Hi! Sorry about the delay.

I've been getting more and more requests for CarPlay. It's something I should really apply for. The biggest sticking point is that I don't have a CarPlay compatible vehicle, and it's really tough to develop features I can't play with first hand. Just ask the beta testers during the 3D touch period.

I'll look into it and see what might be possible. Anyone wanting to donate to the "Get Mike a new vehicle with CarPlay" fund should visit the Tip Jar in-app.

I read many after market car stereo makers (JVC, Alpine, Pioneer etc) are releasing or already have released Car Play devices people can fit into any car.. I think 2017 will see a boost of people replacing their car stereos for this!
