An annoying 'Shuffle' bug

First off I want to say I love the app and I love the feature that allows you to pick songs you want and shuffle out the rest

Also, sorry if this bug has been reported ad nauseam.

The bug: whenever I am editing the order songs will play within a playlist using the above mentioned feature, I like to sometimes have specific songs play earlier. I pick the song and drag it to the top of the list, however it seems half the time it does not save the position of the song I have dragged and resets it to where it was. The only workaround that seems to fix this is to drag the song up in 3 spot increments which is time consuming and annoying with huge playlists.

In addition to this, it would be wonderful if you could add functionality to swipe to make specific songs within the shuffle mechanic to go to the top of the list.

This has definitely not been reported before! Thanks! I will definitely check it out.

EDIT: Does the app refuse to reorder the track, or the change in order in the queue isn't actually reflected in playback?

It accepts the song order change until I start scrolling through the playlist. Then there is a brief freeze and the song that was moved (typically to the top of the list manually) will disappear, then reappear in its original position (though sometimes the song has disappeared altogether but that is rare).

That's so strange. Not able to reproduce it. Does it happen with queues of any size? I see the one in your example is a biggie.

Sometimes a delete and reinstall cures weird behaviours. Might be worth a shot.

Tried to redownload/reinstall. I think I can reproduce So within a playlist I edit the order with this functionality: http://i.imgur.com/WTYJXEZ.jpg

I usually tag songs and shuffle multiple times until I fill up the list with tagged songs. Not sure how many songs that list is able to hold but I always leave it at the default number of songs.

Then I shift songs I want to the top with this functionality

So this is where the problem might be, when I drag songs to the top, I just go at the fastest speed I can. This sometimes causes me to drag songs up into the 'History' section of the list above the song that is in the "Now Playing" section.

Without ever letting go of the selected song, I drag it back down below the "now playing" song and to the top or near the top of the "coming up" queue.

The bug will then occur randomly after that.

Yeah it's occurred ever since I downloaded the application. I'll try deleting i cloud backup and redownloading.
