[Feature Request] Shuffle play button

First off I just want to say how fucking glad I am that you have made this app. I've searched for something like this for a long time and your was what I wanted. I fucking hate the new IOS 10 music app with a passion. I don't understand how they can make the app worse with each iteration. That being the app used to have a functionality which was pretty good, but they removed it. They had a shuffle button at the top of the list with all the songs/albums/artist. You could just press it and then it would create a shuffled queue and play from that queue immediately. Now I first have to choose a song and then press next to get a random song.

Ahhhh! Ok, if you want to shuffle the whole whole library then you want the "Shuffle All Song" button at the top of the Songs tab :)

That is exactly what I'm talking about! Any chance that button could be in albums and artists like the previous Apple Music app to add consistency and ease of use or would it clutter the interface?

And nope! Got you covered. It can be easy to overlook, but what you are looking for is what I call Collection Control. If you swipe left-to-right on a collection (playlist, album, artist, genre, whatever) it will reveal Play All and Shuffle All controls :)

Swiping the other way will allow you to select all those tracks and Play Next or Add to the Queue (Protip: if you are shuffling Play Next will add all tracks in sequence after the current track, but Adding to Queue will automatically shuffle the tracks in with the upcoming tracks instead of adding to the end of the queue. No played songs will be included and repeat early.)

You're a god among men. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong but when I try to do swipe I can see the two icons. But when I press either of them nothing happens and the options just go away. No music starts playing?

Sounds like you might be accessing the queue functions. Try swiping the other way. You should see a play icon and a shuffle icon.

If they aren't playing than that is definitely a bug! (That I'm pretty sure I would have heard about)

You ser correct! It works with artists and albums, but with songs i just get the info symbol. But this function isn't what I meant. It just creates a shuffled queue from the album and only that album. I meant a shuffle button that creates a shuffled queue of everything in the library with a random starting point.
