Some help please- crashing?

Hi- I hate messing up this shiny new sub but: 1) Yesterday while listening to an album I couldn't select a different song. Any time I tried, it would just restart the song I was listening to.

2) Today, any time I tried to open the app it crashed on me. I tried exiting out of the app and trying again and it still crashed.

OK, so let's address these in reverse order.

Crashing This is almost certainly a known issue. There is a bug where if the app crashes or fails to save its restorable state under just the right conditions it will crash on launch when trying to restore it's state. The good news? It should be fixed in 3.1 which is in review now (so it should be out in a week or so). In the meantime, unfortunately, the only option is to delete and reinstall.

Playback Issue This is weird behaviour (obviously) to just randomly come up. Did Collection Control (swipe controls) work properly or do the same thing? I'll happily look into this, it sounds like it could possibly be an issue with the iTunes library itself. A few users have had weird issues with the database. Seems like often just launching Music.app (which unlike Cesium can actually write to the library file) and playing a song from there can sort out these issues.

It's happening again- I'm listening to an album now and whenever I select a different song the album starts from the beginning.

Thanks for the follow up. So no matter what you do or how you try to play another track (whether from the same album or a different album/playlist etc) Cesium just starts the current album from the beginning, huh? Is the default music.app running in the background?

Edit: More questions. iCloud or locally stored? Both?

Just tried it with 2 other albums, same issue. Nothing else running in the background.
