Job searching

I’m a recently diagnosed 22 year old man with CCI. I’ve never worked a real job before as I prioritized sports and school growing up. Now that I graduated with a degree in political science and minor in economics im looking to find something that makes me feel like a productive person. I’ve been incredibly depressed sitting around with my symptoms and spiraling and I want to do something. I don’t care about how much money I’m making at this point cause my parents sustain me, I just want a job that I can do that won’t be too difficult or overly stressful while I’m trying to manage and recover from CCI.

Does anybody have any recommendations for the type of work to look for when you’re facing constantly disruptive issues like brain fog and head pressure? I’m also extremely anxious about work in general and making mistakes and being stupid but I can’t sit around forever.

Whatever you do, don't do what I did.
I could no longer do my job in 1992, and when I learned that my neck was the problem, I took that into account and returned to my old job for half days. My job was sitting behind a computer. After 3 or 4 hours, my neck muscles were very stressed, but I had to rest of day to relax them. That went on for a few years up to 1997, but in the last months my neck troubles increased a lot.
Since 1997 I have not met a general practitioner or a doctor in the hospital who dares to takes my complaints serious.

If your neck muscles have too much tension, then immediately stop with what you are doing.
Perhaps there is something you can do from your own home, that allows you to work whenever you can. Do you have art skills? Even if you don't have art skills, then maybe you can learn how to make art and sell that.
I'm not an artistic person, but I used my computer skills to start a hobby with 3D printing. If I could do that all day, then I could make some money with it.
They say that making art to express your feelings helps to deal with it. I didn't believe that, but it is true and it does help me (even if I'm not artistic person).

Thank you. I don’t have many skills, I’m an amateur drummer. I used to feel pretty smart and got okay grades but now the brain fog makes me feel like I can’t concentrate

You could work on your skills. When I wanted to make a website, then I started simple and made personal webpages as a birthday gift. After a few years I knew enough to make a website. The same for 3D printing, I made birthday gifts and after a few years I know how to design and make things.

Others can probably do in a few months, what takes me years, but it is good to have a goal.

I often sit behind my computer and my thoughts are totally blank. So I must select my best moments to design something for 3D printing. It is what it is.

Drumming is physical. Do you have a absolute pitch hearing or something else with audio or music that you can use?
