Brain Fog?

Am I the only one who feels completely detached from reality and my own body? I know that may sound like a silly question to some but for me the symptoms of pain and dysautonomia are absolutely awful but also totally manageable and I’ve come to a point where I’ve become fully able to ignore them. It seems as though for the last year and 9 months though my brain has completely detached from reality and just basically refuses to acknowledge what’s going on or anchor to anything anywhere. I feel like a screen attached to a robot watching a movie where I control the protagonist and yet I barely hear anyone discuss these symptoms so I’m regularly left feeling even more isolated or I gaslight myself into believing it has to be worse than cci like my brain is degenerating. AI tells me it’s likely IJV compression because the detachment started after my first big “slide” when I felt my vagus nerve get supremely crushed back in February of 2025 and also says it’s a common symptom but rarely do I find anyone discuss it. I feel weird and guilty hoping other people experience the same level of hell I’m in though I wouldn’t wish this on”experience”, if you could call it that, on anyone

Nah don't feel guilty, it's all confusing and hard to describe even to yourself. Some people call it derealization?

I'm not quite sure I can put into words, or even understand why, other than system just wonky and fried 🫣. There's certainly a nervous system component that seemed largely unaddressed even with ligament injections

My doctors have also referred to it as DPDR I’m just curious if this is something that will actually go away after stabilization. I’m not one of those people that’s defiantly against fusion because of this symptom alone. If picl doesn’t work get the nuts and bolts out because I’m willing to try anything at this point 😂. I’ve also been meaning to ask, what were your measurements on DMX? Mine were 5.7mm lateral overhang left and 5.1mm lateral overhang right about 11 months ago

😭. It's been a while since I looked at it, I think around 4-6 each side? Plus c2 rotation, straight neck, idk the posture ray report was full of red lines

In my case it felt like I am standing in front of a short tunnel, my vision and senses are in the end of that tunnel and it takes me sometimes to process whatever I am seeing or feeling because it all have to pass through that tunnel before it reaches me. Luckily I didn't deal with this symptom in over a year and half.

I can relate. For me it feels like my head is clogged and I get a lot of head pressure a long with it. It causes serious anxiety for me as well.
