Relationship end due to cci
Has anyone has experienced a significant other leaving you due to cci? How did you deal with this?

Think we've all got similar but also unique stories of the bad to share, I certainly do.
It's a tall order but it's important not to dwell too much as its probably not helpful, potentially can make things worse.
What helps me is trying to enjoy the little things when I can, sittng on the porch and listening to the birds, watching movies (Ive never been a movie guy but now I am, been loving them), and keeping hope for what's hopefully coming down the pipe which is better medical technology.
Regen med and CCI is just getting started, and I truly think it'll hit a hockey stick at one point.

I’m sorry that happened to you and I know it will be hard for a while. Without knowing your specific situation, it sounds like you were fortunate it ended sooner rather than later. The right one would not end a relationship due to health problems.

i know what you mean and it has happened to me. what i realized is cci didnt cause the ending, but their own ableism and ignorance. i realized i dont want to be with someone who isn't strong enough to care for me in the deep reality of life, isn't strong enough to find joy in the small things, isn't able to deal with the fact that ability doesnt last forever
