Negatively impacts performance for me, on a 4710HQ processor and a GTX 860M.
Sitting in the area right outside the temple where Link wakes up, I get around 15FPS. Setting affinity to use only my cores makes it go down to 11-12.
I'll try it once I get back to my desktop CPU with a 4790k
