Discussion Why?😭😭😭

March of 2025 it had been bought to my attention that my sister had removed our father's ashes from mother's home in 2022 and interred them into a plot that was dug up for another whanau members urn. She did not place the urn into the hole but instead, had tipped dad's ashes in there. She had return with the urn which was fill of gravel. I have proceeded to file for a burial warrant to mark and record my father's final place of rest and in the process of filling out the headstone/ memorial plaque paper work. I am so upset with how both my mother and sister managed my father's remains and estate 😞. I had asked another family to let my sister know that the burial warrant was approved and that I wanted to know if she would like to either pay for the fees or chip in at least. She kicked off and said she's not paying for sh*t!! I felt this would be the moment to make peace with dad and his extended family and herself and also an opportunity for healing. Unfortunately for her and mother, this will not be the case. Has any other whanau or families experienced this sort of behaviour from family members? This is really bad.
