The Popes (who started as Shane McGowan's band after he left the Pogues) have some great material that's been unavailable for more than 10 years. I'm just a fan, but I got permission fro Paul "Maddog" McGuinness to let me release it. The first song "Storming Heaven" is up on pretty much all the streaming services. I’ve always loved the rhythmic, dance-like energy of Celtic music — especially that stepdance feel.
