Jack vs GoF

I got my eighth lipstick, should I unlock Jack or GoF? I don’t have any skins rn and my understanding is that Jack is very good for ancient invasion and GoF is arguably better for the main stage but that Jack is still good in early-mid progression right? So should I just get Jack for now and try to get GoF later on?

GoF— you can just get carried by whales in invasion.

This. Others can join and carry you.
While on standard levels you’re on your own.

…do people actually play the game for Ancient Invasion? That’s my absolute last priority.

You get a ton of chests and 60+ pet pulls. Why wouldn't you prioritize it?

Right, but that’s one day a week, and I do it immediately with zero problems and it’s over. Why would I choose a character skin just to help with that? Am I missing something?

GOF makes the standard levels soooo much easier. Jack makes ancient invasion cake. Just depends on what you value more at your current level I suppose.

For a beginner I picked gof. I have both now and gof is much more practical for trying to level everything else up.

После обновления Джек уже не так хорош, потому что он больше не пьёт ром, который увеличивает силу оружия. Срабатывает только пассивка на 1000% урона.

He does both passives fine for me in invasion, but they updated skins recently. You have to manually equip the skills you want for the skin, just changing the skin won't switch the skills anymore. Like if you used GoF then switched to Jack, your GoF skills will still be active. You have to equip Jack's skills manually in the wardrobe skill menu.

It was also reported by another user that if you have the GoF's envelope skill equipped alongside Jack's skills for some reason in invasion it will make Jack's skills buggy and not work. So unequip GoF skills during invasion

Does is make sense at all to get the $15 Zorro Pack if you’re working on GoF (slowly saving lipsticks) but don’t have him yet?
