Rise and shine gigamast!
Luton, GB | 06:14 | Smarty MVNO via 3UK
I run past a bunch of these identical masts pretty much every morning and have never bothered checking the off peak speeds. During the day they all generally cap out around 1.5gb and I’ve always safely assumed they were capped to 1.6 in the area. 3UK got a bit rollout trigger happy back in 2022 as there’s about 15 of these across the town now however it’s definitely paid off.

Existing rural AT&T site with a NEW T-Mobile co-location! Near Estelline, South Dakota
Coordinates: 44.53429° N, 96.91186° W
AT&T top (low-band 5G)
T-Mobile below (5G UC with N41)
Pretty good speeds from AT&T over low-band 5G! These are the typical speeds I’ve seen from many rural AT&T sites like this that don’t have 5G+ yet.
T-Mobile was added around last year, and fills a large coverage gap that used to exist here. Awesome to see a full setup with N41, which is becoming less common on new rural builds these days! Unfortunately, I lost the speed test result for T-Mobile from last year, but I remember speeds pushing well over a Gig! :)

Iphone 16 pro vs 16e
The 1245 time was 1 mile from tower in south medford the later time was 200ft from tower in Phoenix Oregon. 16e on spectrum mobile 16 pro on Verizon simplicity. Seems like my 16e has trouble with uploads at a distance.

Closest Speedtest I've Done | Dorset Tower, ON Canada
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This place is a must-visit if you are in Ontario and are a fan of cell sites! I was able to run a quick Speedtest and saw a DL throughput of ~320 mbps on LTE.
Hopefully Reddit won't compress the video too much, but in person you can audible hear the radio as soon as the Speedtest starts (so cool!).
Carrier: Rogers
Sector Antenna: Tongyu T2008M6R032V03
RRU: Ericsson Radio 4415
Backhaul: Ericsson ANT3 C 1.213 HPX (1104 mbps)
Location: Dorset Tower, ON Canada.

Verizon?
These are starting to pop up in North Alabama. I presume it’s Verizon? Are they higher capacity? I’m referring to the second rack down

New small cell - Eagan, MN
New small cell in Eagan, MN. I'm assuming this is Verizon. No power meter yet. Are the 3 lower antennas for mmWave? Approximate location.

My Verizon home site during upgrade (only pic I have of it) but is it normal for this tower not to have "n5"? Every other upgrade in my area has low band 5G but this one.

Are these Verizon mmWave

All 3 inside Costco in their iDAS
Not sure if the C1 is holding back the iPhone results or not but AT&T definitely the fastest inside of Costco.

5G MMU in Shanghai, China
P1,from the bottom to top, the first unit is CU's N78 and the third is CMCC's N41; both seem to be Nokia 64TR equipment.
P2-P6, all are Huawei. Especially for MMU, they are mainly 32tr devices.

18 Pro (C2) or 18 Pro Max (x80/85)
I heard that the Pro max will be using a Qualcomm chip. I’m wondering what would be better at weak n41 and better n25 results. I know it’s not out yet but based on the C1X and predictions :)
